A quick catch up from the first half of June!

The start of June saw me banned from Facebook for nearly a week! Didn’t realise how much hassle that would cause me until it happened. The yard was really busy with liveries Mango, Socks, Toad, Honey, Maisie and Phoebe. Toad who came to be broken and produced found his lovely new home with Rebecca and her daughter Tallulah, he left me after Trecastle show where he came first and second in his classes. Mango and Socks both in to be sold and both sold quickly to lovey homes. Phoebe is still for sale, she’s a really lovely mare with a super temperament.

Maisie has been eventing well at BE90 this season. This month so far she has been to Ascott Under Wychwood where she placed in the top 10. Her next event is Chepstow on the 30th.

I also finally got to go and watch Caddy compete Outlaw at Broomes, she has really got to grips with him and won the 1.15m, a first attempt at this height for both of them. On the 21st they head to Bicton to have a go at the Newcomer second round. They then head to Ireland next month ! So proud.

Snoozy my project 4yo mare has been going from strength to strength and with the help of Melanie Beckman from “Speak Horse and Win” we really are on the right path. She’s been an enjoyable challenge and I am really excited to see what the future brings.

Corrib was inseminated last Friday (14th) so fingers crossed she is in foal when she is scanned in 2 weeks! It was worth the 7 hour round trip to get her to Towcester Vets where Cobra goes for his collections.
